FAQ
Q: How does the EasyLead Guitar Map make it so much more effective than memorizing from a book?
A: The EasyLead is a complete guitar scale road map. When you are in the learning stage and you want to slide up or down the neck to another pattern box, it's hit or miss on whether you will land on the correct note if you're going from total memory. But with the EasyLead you now exactly where you're going for smoother transitions.
And also, because you're able to see the guitar scale, you have one less thing to try to remember. You just have to work on finger speed and dexterity and tapping your creative mind for those great melodies in your head.
Q: How durable is the EasyLead Guitar Map and is it only good for a few uses because I don't want to waste my money?
A: The EasyLead is super durable and super thin. As well, the adhesive is perfect because it has a very low tack and sticks just enough to hold properly but can easily be removed, safely stored and installed again for you next lead practice session.
Q: Will the EasyLead Guitar Map affect the playability of my guitar negatively?
A: No way! It's so thin and smooth the strings are free to move as they always are and you can slide up and down the neck with lightning speed.
Q: What is the adhesive like?
A: The adhesive used on the EasyLead Guitar Map is the lowest tack available like the yellow sticky note adhesive. It holds enough to stay in place even during aggressive playing and yet can easily be removed and reused if stored properly.
Q: Why is an adhesive used at all?
A: Existing products have tried to use non adhesive application methods. Unfortunately these products slip easily during aggressive lead playing, ride higher off the fretboard, dampening the notes or vibration and negatively affecting playability. The EasyLead Guitar Map solves this problem by staying in place, riding very low and not affecting the string action. We believe that this is the best method to holding the map in place and not affecting the action of the guitar.
Q: I have a brand new expensive guitar. Will it damage my guitar?
A: No. The adhesive is low tack and leaves practically no noticeable residue - especially on older guitars or a guitar which already has built up finger oil on the fret board. With a dirty fretboard the map still attaches securely. On a brand new or recently cleaned guitar, you will notice some residue left behind because the fretboard is so clean. But it will not damage or ruin the fretboard in any way and is easily wiped off with any guitar cleaner fluid.
Q: Will I learn bad habits using the EasyLead Guitar Map or will it limit my potential to keep learning more?
A: Absolutely not. The EasyLead will kick start your progress by making it easier to engrain the guitar scale patterns into your memory. Memory is enhanced because of the easy to see color-coded pattern boxes and the octave and fifth degree markers.
Q: Do I have to be a really good guitar player already to get any benefit from the EasyLead Guitar Map?
A: No, you do not have to be an advanced guitar player, although even advanced players will benefit using the EasyLead if they are trying to really understand the fret board. If you are at the "strumming" stage where you are playing basic songs and are yearning to break free, then you are ready for the EasyLead.
Q: Why is the EasyLead only in the key of C major and E minor pentatonic?
A: The key of C major was chosen because it's the natural scale and the least confusing to learn. It's also well positioned over the first 12 frets of the guitar to easily show you the various modes. And of course it also doubles as the A minor natural scale.
The key of E minor pentatonic was chosen because it's first most commonly known position for the pentatonic and is situated perfectly on the open frets. This will become very familiar to you and you can easily apply it to every other position. It also doubles as the G major pentatonic!
Q: What about learning the guitar scales in the other keys like E, D or G major? Am I limiting myself?
A: Not at all! In fact by getting you started on a centrally located key like C, you can easily shift up or down a fret or series of frets and just play the same pattern boxes you have already learned and you are now playing a different key!
Q: You say the EasyLead Guitar Map will fit my guitar. If I have an electric, an acoustic and a classical guitar, will it fit them all so I only have to buy one set?
A: That's exactly right. A lot of thought, time and effort went into creating the optimal size of the EasyLead so it would fit practically every guitar and scale length out there. But remember what I said, if in the rare instance that it doesn't fit your guitar, we'll buy it back from you!
Q: If the EasyLead Guitar Map doesn't improve my lead guitar playing can I return it for a full money back guarantee?
A: Absolutely! If within 90 days after purchasing the EasyLead package offered here today and having given it an honest effort, your lead guitar playing has not improved, we will happily refund you money AND you can keep the Jam Tracks, which you can use for future practice sessions. We would just say thanks for having placed your trust in us.
